01 / THE EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
A remarkable piano.
A larger idea.
Bogányi had already re-engineered the grand piano. The brand challenge was to expand how the world understood its value.
Concert performance established credibility—but music alone defined too narrow a market. The instrument’s sculptural form, carbon-fibre engineering and bespoke potential gave it relevance far beyond the concert hall: as functional art for exceptional residences, superyachts, hotels and cultural spaces.
Protect concert credibility.
A serious instrument conceived by a concert pianist, with the performance and acoustic innovation to justify its form.
Make the object desirable.
A free-flowing silhouette designed to belong at the centre of an exceptional interior—not against its wall.
Change the route to market.
Reach private clients through the architects, interior designers and trusted advisers who shape what enters their world.

02 / FROM EVIDENCE TO DECISION
The instrument was already extraordinary.
The opportunity was to make that value legible.
The work separated established product truth from strategic diagnosis and the positioning, language and commercial architecture created around it.
Innovation with genuine substance
Conceived by concert pianist Gergely Bogányi, the instrument combines a patented carbon-fibre composite soundboard, a distinctive free-flowing form and concert-grade performance.
The piano category constrained the value
Positioned only as an instrument, Bogányi competed for attention inside a specialist world. Its design created relevance in a much larger luxury and architectural context.
Sound and design become one proposition
Never reduce the musical authority. Add architectural, material and cultural value around it—so each dimension strengthens the others.
A Sculpture of Sound
A simple governing expression for the union of concert performance, technological innovation, sculptural form and commissioned individuality.
03 / THE DIAGNOSIS
This was not a product-awareness problem.
It was a category-perception problem.
The traditional piano market saw an unconventional instrument. The luxury-design world could see something rarer: a functional work of art with authentic performance beneath the form.
04 / THE GOVERNING IDEA
A Sculpture
of Sound.
The music
“Sound” keeps concert performance and Gergely Bogányi’s artistic vision at the centre.
The architecture
“Sculpture” gives the form cultural and spatial value beyond the traditional instrument category.
The commission
Colour, material, detailing and placement become part of a personal design process—not optional extras.
Luxury noise
No empty superlatives. The brand earns desire through design, engineering, provenance and restraint.
05 / THE ROUTE TO THE CLIENT
Do not wait for the owner to search for a piano.
Enter while the world around them is being designed.
The decisive audience is not only the person who acquires the instrument. It is the professional who decides what belongs in an exceptional space.
Interior designers and architects translate private ambition into objects, materials and environments. For Bogányi, they are not merely influencers. They are the route through which architectural relevance becomes a commission.
Equip trusted advisers with the story, evidence, imagery, specification and confidence to introduce Bogányi naturally within a larger project.
Architects and interior designers
Specify the instrument as part of the space.
Luxury partners and cultural connectors
Create trust, access and private experience.
UHNW owners and collectors
Commission an instrument made for their world.
A visual expression of the world the positioning is designed to enter. This is a created concept—not presented as a completed client installation.
06 / THE SYSTEM CREATED
The brand had to perform
before the first note was played.
A connected system now carries the same positioning from strategic presentation to editorial story, private commission and international market development.
A larger, ownable category
Bogányi sits at the intersection of concert performance, advanced engineering, contemporary sculpture and bespoke luxury—without becoming less credible in any one of them.
Luxury expressed through precision
Engineering detail becomes the adjective. Provenance carries the authority. Restraint creates space for the reader to recognise rarity without being told how impressed to feel.
A relationship-led route to growth
Presentations, editorial features, private consultation and partner materials help designers and market representatives introduce the instrument with confidence and discretion.
07 / THE POSITION IN PRACTICE
Not staged as sculpture.
Chosen as one.
Its strongest placements demonstrate the expanded category in real life: performance and architecture occupying the same space.

A concert grand at the centre of an entertainment deck.
The placement makes the proposition tangible: an instrument capable of performance, selected within one of the world’s most ambitious private interior commissions.
BUILDER · LÜRSSEN / INTERIOR · REYMOND LANGTON & SHANNAH COLLECTIVE
A bespoke bronze instrument made for the vessel.
Carbon fibre becomes a luxury design canvas. The finish belongs to the interior, demonstrating that bespoke expression is integral to the commission—not decoration applied afterwards.
BUILDER · ABEKING & RASMUSSEN / INTERIOR · REYMOND LANGTON DESIGN
Architecture and instrument speaking the same language.
Selected for the Papillon Residence, the piano stands as an architectural centrepiece: not furniture arranged within the room, but an object capable of defining it.
ARCHITECTURE · LANDRY DESIGN GROUP / INTERIOR · PHILIP NIMMO08 / THE VOICE
The instrument is extraordinary.
The writing never needs to say so.
Three principles govern the language across brand story, editorial, partner communications and private commissions.
Let rarity breathe.
Desire is created through selection, pacing and confidence—not a pile-up of luxury adjectives.
Make detail seductive.
Carbon-fibre soundboard, free-flowing silhouette, Renner action and bespoke finish provide more authority than generic claims.
Name what matters.
The pianist, designer, atelier, partners, places and commissions carry the cultural credibility of the story.
09 / THE VALUE BUILT
A piano people can play.
A brand more people can place.
The positioning expands commercial relevance without diluting product truth.
Every expression can now build the same value: musical authority, sculptural distinction, technological credibility and commissioned individuality.
A larger field of relevance
From the concert hall into luxury residences, superyachts, hotels, cultural institutions and landmark interiors.
A proposition others can repeat
“A Sculpture of Sound” gives owners, designers and partners one memorable way to understand the whole.
A platform for international growth
New commissions, partnerships and markets can strengthen the same position instead of inventing a different story each time.
10 / WHAT THIS CASE PROVES
The strongest luxury positioning does not invent value.
It reveals how much value was already there.
Bogányi Piano shows what happens when product truth, cultural intelligence and commercial direction are governed by one idea. A concert instrument remains a concert instrument—and becomes an architectural object, a private commission and a brand with a larger world to enter.
